SAFETY CUT-OUT / RESET FUNCTION
If the appliance turns itself off, the safety cut-out has tripped. The appliance
switches itself off before the motor can be damaged due to overheating,
e.g. because pieces of food have got stuck and the motor has blocked. The
appliance cannot be switched back on until you reset the safety cut-out.
Proceed as follows to be able to use the appliance again:
Set the On/Off switch
to the "O" position and pull the plug of
the power cable
out of the socket. Allow the appliance to cool
down for 10–15 minutes.
Turn the housing lid anticlockwise until the marking points
towards the marking on the sieve tray holder .
Remove the housing lid
.
Remove the fruit or vegetable pieces causing the blockage.
Carefully remove the sieve tray and turn the appliance base
over.
Insert the plug of the power cable
into a mains socket.
Press the RESET button that is on the underside of the appliance
base .
Pull the plug of the power cable
out of the socket and turn the
appliance base over.
Reassemble the appliance, insert the plug of the power cable
into a power socket and continue with juice extraction.
NOTE
If the juice container
is full and you want to empty it while juice is still
dripping out of the juice outlet
, block it off using the stopper . Open
the stopper again after you have replaced the empty juice container
under the juice outlet .
