■ Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by
sharp edges or hot spots. Do not wind the power cable
around the appliance.
■ When using the appliance, ensure that the power cable
is not squeezed or crushed.
■ Before cleaning, maintenance or periods of non-use,
disconnect the mains adapter from the power socket.
■ Always disconnect the power cable from the mains
power socket by pulling on the plug; never pull on the
cable.

Appliance-specific safety instructions
■ The appliance may only be used only on a level, non-
slip surface and never on a soft pad.
■ To prevent an overflow during the cleaning process, the
stainless steel bath should not be filled above the MAX
marking.
■ Always use the basket insert when cleaning small parts to
prevent scratches to the components themselves or the
stainless steel bath. If several items are being cleaned at
the same time, ensure that they do not come into contact
with each other in order to prevent scratches.
■ Always use the basket insert when cleaning spectacles
or jewellery. When placing spectacles in the basket in

sert, always make sure their lenses face upwards.
■ Rinse your spectacles and jewellery with clear water
after each cleaning.
