Using a 2.5" HDD in the tray for increased storage capacity.
Utilizing the SATA interface's hot-swap capability for backup.
Turn notebook over, loosen screw, push drive out, identify eject hole.
Separate drive tray/shell, release front panel hooks.
Attach front panel, insert and secure 2.5" drive, fasten iron slice.
Insert tray into slot, ensure tight connection, fasten back screws.
Turn notebook over, loosen back cover screws, open cover.
Locate drive screw, push drive out, take out optical drive.
Find front panel hooks, release hooks, remove iron slice.
Fasten front panel to tray, insert drive, secure drive, fasten iron slice.
Insert tray into slot, ensure tight connection, fasten back screws, close cover.
Turn optical drive over, attach panel, install panel from right to left.
Pull out USB cable from enclosure, pull out completely.
Put optical drive into the enclosure and press to the bottom.
Fasten the cover with two screws to complete the installation.
