MOWER
OFF-SEASON
STORAGE
To
protect
your
mower,
store
it
in
an
enclosed
dry
area.
To
prepare
the
mower
for
off-season
storage
perform
the
following.
1.
Remove
mower
from
tractor
if
tractor
is
to
be
used
without
mower.
(See
Mower
Installation
and
Removal
sec¬
tion)).
2.
Clean
top
and
underside
of
mower
to
remove
all
grass
and
dirt.
3.
Coat
all
bare
metal
surfaces
with
a
good
quality
paint
(available
from
your
deal¬
er)
or
a
light
coat
of
oil
to
prevent
rusting.
4.
Lubricate
mower
(page
16).
5.
Check,
sharpen
and
balance
the
mower
blades
(page
16).
6.
The
belt
should
be
stored
in
a
cool,
dark
place
away
from
sunlight
or
any
heat
source.
