Why does my SimpliFire Fireplace Accessories turn on by itself?
If your SimpliFire Fireplace Accessories is turning on by itself, the control board (PCB) may be defective and require replacement. For units manufactured before 2019, a similar infrared signal from another remote might be causing this issue, and replacing the control board (PCB) is the solution.
Why is my SimpliFire Fireplace Accessories making a grinding noise?
If you hear a grinding or rubbing noise from your SimpliFire Fireplace Accessories when the heater is off, it's likely that the rotisserie is hitting or rubbing against internal components. Make sure the rotisserie rod is straight, properly mounted, and spins freely. If the sound is coming from friction with the rotisserie bracket, apply grease to the contact point.
Why does my SimpliFire Fireplace Accessories heater emit an odor?
It is normal for the SimpliFire Fireplace Accessories heater to emit an odor for a brief amount of time after turning on. This is because it is burning off dust that has accumulated on the heater.
