Simpson 260 - Measuring A.C. Voltages to 1,000 Volts

MEASURING A.C. VOLTAGES TC 1,000 VCLTS
CONTACTS AND SWITCH POSITIONS FOR A.C. VOLTS.
1. Set the function switch at 4.C.
2. Set the range selector switch in any of the
five voltage range positions, marked 2.5 V.,
lO Ve, 50 Ve, 25C V., and 1000 V. When in
doubt as to the voltage present, always select
the highest voltage range as 2 protection to
the instrument.
3. Plug the black test lead into the COMMON-
jack and the red test lead into the + jack.
ke Ве sure power is turned off іп the circuit to
be measured and connect the test leads across
the voltage source.
