Why is the volume of purified water from my SimPure Water Filtration System so low?

  If your SimPure Water Filtration System is producing a low volume of purified water, it could be due to several reasons. The water temperature might be too low; ensure the unit is at room temperature and the feedwater is above 40 degrees. Alternatively, the filters may be blocked, in which case you should replace all filters and flush the system. Another possible cause is a fouled RO membrane, which requires flushing. If flushing doesn't resolve the issue, consider replacing the RO membrane.

What to do if my SimPure Water Filtration System is continually flowing to drain?

  If your SimPure Water Filtration System continues to flow water to the drain even after the system is full (after 2-3 hours), the automatic shut-off (ASO) and/or check valve may have failed, requiring replacement. Also, ensure that the manual flush valve is in the CLOSED position.

What to do if no purified water is coming out of my SimPure Water Filtration System?

  If no purified water is coming out of your SimPure Water Filtration System, the RO membrane might be fouled. Try flushing the RO membrane; if that doesn't work, replace it. Also, check for improper Teflon tape wrapping that may have blocked the filter connector; remove the Teflon tape and re-wrap it around the fittings.
