  If your Simrad Car Navigation system isn't updating its position and the red traffic light is blinking for more than 10 minutes, the issue might be due to jamming from nearby transmitters. Try relocating the GPS antenna. It could also be a faulty antenna or cable, in which case you should replace the antenna. As an alternative, connect the MX421 power directly to the external 12 VDC supply. If the issue persists, the unit may need repair.
