Function Description

The KJR-90D Wired Controller serves as a central control interface for Sinclair air conditioning indoor units. It connects to the indoor unit's display panel via a 5-core shielding cable and allows users to set various operational modes and parameters through its buttons and liquid crystal display (LCD). The controller can also receive signals from a wireless remote controller, enabling control of the air conditioner through the wired unit when the system is powered on.

Key functions include:

On/Off Control: Turns the indoor unit on or off.
Operating Mode Selection: Allows selection of AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, and FAN modes. For cool-only units, the HEAT mode is not available.
Fan Speed Setting: Adjusts fan speed in COOL, HEAT, and FAN modes (AUTO, LOW, MID, HIGH). In AUTO and DRY modes, fan speed is automatically set to AUTO and not adjustable.
Temperature Setting: Sets the desired temperature in AUTO, COOL, DRY, and HEAT modes within a range of 17°C-30°C (62°F-88°F). Temperature cannot be adjusted in FAN mode.
Timer On/Off Setting: Configures the unit to turn on or off at a specified time. The timer can be set from 0.5 hours to 24 hours, with increments of 0.5 hours for settings under 10 hours and 1 hour for settings 10 hours or more. Setting the timer to 0.0 hours cancels the timer function.
Clock Setting: Allows users to set the current time.
ECO Operation: Activates an energy-saving mode when the unit is in COOL or HEAT mode. In ECO mode, the initial fan speed is auto, and the setpoint is 26°C for COOL mode and 22°C for HEAT mode. This function is only available if the indoor unit supports it.
Controller Locking: Prevents unintended operations by locking the controller. When locked, the controller does not respond to button presses or wireless remote control instructions.
Swing Function: If supported by the indoor unit, this function adjusts the air outlet direction. A long press of the swing button can turn on or off the auto swing function. The wired remote controller does not receive swing control instructions from a wireless remote, but the swing button on the wired controller can be used directly.
Follow Me Function: When activated in AUTO, COOL, or HEAT modes, the wired remote controller's local sensor reads the room temperature and transmits this value to the indoor unit every 3 minutes. This function is deactivated by mode changeover.
