5. SETTING THE SCMI-01.4 MODULE USING THE
COMPUTER
You can also set up the module from your computer using the USBCommunicator software.
The connector for connecting to the computer is located under the cover on the front panel of
the module. To set the parameters from a computer, the module may not be connected to a
power supply; it is powered from the computer's USB connector. After connecting the module
to the computer that is running the USBCommunicator program, the computer reads the
module's settings and displays them in the opened window.
