Raising the bobbin
thread
1. Lift presser foot.
2. Hold needle thread loosely with left hand. Turn
hand wheel
toward you, loosening needle into hole
into plate.
3. Continue to do this until needle rises above needle
plate. Next, pull gently needle thread bringing up
bobbin in aloop
(illustration 1).
4. Open loop with fingers to find the end of bobbin
thread.

5. Draw both threads through the opening in presser
foot (illustration 2). Pull both threads to back of
machine.
6. Finally, dose the bobbin visor completely.
