Service Manual
Removal:
1. Position Stitch width button to the left (straight stitch position) and the Needle
position button in the center.
2. Be sure that the bobbin winder is in the “OFF” position (to the left).
3. Remove arm top cover srews (A) and (B).
4. Remove the arm top cover (C) pulling it frontwards and up. Check if buttons slits are
released from the studs.
Replacement:
1. Replacement is the same as removal in reverse order.
Check that the spindle turns freely . Push it to the left again (sew position) and check if
the machine runs normally.
If the bobbin winder hesitates or fails to rotate, remove covers and check for worn or
absent bobbin winder rubber ring .
NOTE:
Push bobbin winder spindle to the right (bobbin winding position) and run machine.
