Service Manual
Removal:
1. Remove arm top cover.
2. Remove cam stack (A), screws (D) and disc driver (C).
3. Set stitch length control dial to "5" and move the zig-zag lever to left (Straight stitch
position)
4. Remove screws (B) and disc bracket.
Replacement:
1. Replacement is the same as removal in reverse order.
2. Adjust cam stack radial play (See pages 61-62) and needle bar pendulum
timing (See pages 69-70).
3. Check left-to-right needle location (See pages73-74) and zig-zag bight
stop (See pages 79-80) and adjust if necessary.
4- Check needle follower clearance. (See pages 61-62)
