Suspension
Condition
Check
all
front suspension components
for excessive play or wear including ball
joints, control arms and links etc.
Visually inspect
all
rear
suspension com-
ponents including slider shoes, springs,
wheels, etc.
0
NOTE: During normal driving,
snow will act
as
a lubricant and
coolant for the slider shoes. Extensive
riding on ice or sanded snow will create
excessive heat build-up and cause pre-
mature slider shoe wear.
Suspension
Adjustments
The rear suspension has three adjust-
ments:
- The front shock spring for surface
condition.
- The rear shock spring (twin shocks)
for driver's weight.
- Limiter screw to control weight trans-
fer during acceleration.
