What to do if my skilsaw SPT79 won't start?
- GGary SpencerAug 13, 2025
If your Skilsaw Saw tool won't start, first ensure it is properly plugged into a functioning power outlet. If it is plugged in, check the power source's fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. Also, check if the GFCI has tripped and reset it. Inspect the power cord for any damage; if damaged, have it replaced by an Authorized Bosch Service Center or Service Station. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the switch might be burned out or the trigger might not be turning the tool on, in which case you should have the switch replaced by an Authorized Bosch Service Center or Service Station.
