SKMEI 1602 Operation Manual

A.Features :



Time function: hour, minute, second, year (2000-2099) Month, day,12H/24H .

 The stopwatch function, the maximum range is 23:59' 59''，1/100S.

B.Backlight and Unlock :

 Press D key to light the LED backlight

 Press and hold D key for 3 seconds to Unlock and enter normal time mode.

C. Mode Switch



Press B key to switch the function modes.

D.Time and date setting :



In normal time mode. Press C key to switch between 12H/24H mode.



In normal time mode, press and hold A key for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode, and the second flashes.

 Press B key to switch settings

Second Hour Minute Year Month Day

 Press C key to increase value, keep pressing C key to quickly increase value.



Press A Key to exit the setting

Remark:Automatically locked after 1 minute without key operation and display "lock".

E.Chronograph function :



In the chronograph mode, press C key to start the running seconds, press C key again to stop the second, and

press A key when the running seconds stop to return to zero.



In the chronograph mode, press C key to start timing, press A key to enter the split function,and the symbol

(“ ”) appear .Press A key again to get the first group record,but the second group still processing in the

back group,press A key again to continue the second group,press A key again to read the second group

record......When the final group finished, press C key to stop the SPL function,press A key read the final group

(SUM)record,press C key again to clear the record to zero.

F.Count down function :



In the countdown mode, press A key for 2 seconds to enter the countdown mode.

B. Backlight and Unlock

To operate the backlight and unlock the watch:

Backlight Activation: Press the 'D' key to illuminate the LED backlight.
Unlock and Normal Time Mode Entry: Press and hold the 'D' key for 3 seconds to unlock the watch and enter the normal time display mode.

C. Mode Switch

The watch features multiple operational modes, which can be navigated using the 'B' key:

Mode Progression: Pressing the 'B' key cycles through the following modes in order:
- Time mode
- Chronograph mode
- Countdown mode
- Alarm setting mode
- Dual time mode

D. Time and Date Setting

Setting the time and date involves a specific sequence of actions:

12H/24H Mode Switch: In normal time mode, press the 'C' key to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats.
Entering Setting Mode: In normal time mode, press and hold the 'A' key for 2 seconds. The second display will begin to flash, indicating entry into the time setting mode.
Navigating Setting Items: Press the 'B' key to cycle through the adjustable items in the following order: Second → Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Day.
Adjusting Values: Press the 'C' key to increase the value of the currently selected item. Holding down the 'C' key will rapidly increase the value.
Exiting Setting Mode: Press the 'A' key to exit the setting mode.
Automatic Lock: The watch will automatically lock after 1 minute of no key operation, and "lock" will be displayed.

E. Chronograph Function

The chronograph mode offers standard stopwatch functionality and a split-time feature:

Starting/Stopping/Resetting:
- In chronograph mode, press the 'C' key to start the running seconds.
- Press the 'C' key again to stop the second.
- Press the 'A' key when the running seconds are stopped to return to zero.
Split Function:
- In chronograph mode, press the 'C' key to start timing.
- Press the 'A' key to enter the split function; the symbol "SPL" will appear.
- Press the 'A' key again to record the first group's time. The second group will continue timing in the background.
- Press the 'A' key again to resume displaying the second group's time.
- Press the 'A' key again to read the second group's record. This sequence can be repeated for multiple groups.
- When the final group is finished, press the 'C' key to stop the SPL function.
- Press the 'A' key to read the final group's total (SUM) record.
- Press the 'C' key again to clear all records to zero.

F. Countdown Function

The countdown timer allows for setting a specific duration for a countdown:

Entering Countdown Mode: In countdown mode, press the 'A' key for 2 seconds to enter the countdown setting mode.
Selecting Adjustment Item: Press the 'B' key to select the adjustment item in the following order: Hour → Minute → Second.
Adjusting Values: Press the 'C' key to adjust the value of the selected item.
Confirming and Exiting: Press the 'A' key to confirm the settings and return to the countdown display status.
Starting/Stopping Countdown: Press the 'C' key to start or stop the countdown.
Setting/Resetting Countdown Mode: Press the 'A' key to set and reset the countdown mode.
Remarks:
- When the countdown time reaches zero, a warning tone will sound for 1 minute, and the symbol will flash.
- Pressing any key will interrupt the warning, and the countdown time will restart.
- The watch will automatically exit the setting status if no key operation occurs within one minute.

G. Alarm Setting

The watch supports multiple alarms and an hourly chime:

Hourly Chime On/Off: In alarm mode, press the 'C' key to turn the hourly chime on or off (indicated by a bell symbol).
Selecting Alarm: Press the 'D' key to select between AL1, AL2, AL3, AL4, and AL5.
Alarm On/Off: Press the 'C' key to turn the selected alarm on or off (indicated by an alarm symbol).
Setting Alarm Time: Press the 'A' key button for 2 seconds to enter the alarm time setting mode.
Navigating Setting Items: Press the 'B' key to switch between the hour and minute settings.
Adjusting Values: Press the 'C' key to adjust the value of the selected item.
Exiting Setting Mode: Press the 'A' key to exit the time setting.
Remarks:
- Upon entering the alarm setting state, the alarm is automatically turned on.
- When the alarm time is reached, the alarm warning tone will sound for 1 minute.
