Setting up email in Mail for Macs
1. Open Mail, then Mail Setup Wizard.
2. Click Continue.
3. Select POP from the Account Type drop down menu.
lt. Enter a description of the email account in the Account Description
box (e.g. ' My Sky Email').
5. Enter your name in the Full Name box (this sets the 'from' name on
emails you send).
6. Enter your email address in the Email Address box
(e.g.: john.smith@sky.com) in lowercase letters, with no spaces.
7. Click Continue.
8. In the Incoming Mail Server box, enter pop.sky.com
(all lowercase, no spaces).
9. In the Username box enter the first part of your @sky . com email
address (everything before
the@ sign) .
10. In the Password box, enter the password for your @sky.com email
account
(you can find this on the Welcome Letter).
11. Click Continue.
12. 1n the Outgoing Mail Server box, enter smtp.s k y.com
(all lowercase, no spaces).
13. Leave the Use Authentication tick box Unchecked .
lit. Username and Password boxes should be left empty.
15. Click Continue.
16. Check that the Account Summary lists the correct details for
everything you have entered so far (if not , click Go Back) .
17. Click Continue .
18.
Click Done.
19. Click the Create Another Accoun t button and repeat the above steps
for each of your 10 @sky.com email accounts.
If you go to skybroadband . com (see page 16). we'll show you how you can
move your address book to the Sky web mail service on skybroadband. com
and give you a great tool so you can tell your friends and family that your
email address has changed.
Note : You will not be able to
access your Sky email until
your Sky Broadband fine
has been activated .
