Safety information
Read these operating instructions carefully before using the remote control unit. Keep these
operating instructions for further reference or for handing over to others. Never attempt to repair
the remote control unit yourself.
Do not expose the remote control unit to dust, bright sunlight, moisture, high temperatures or
mechanical vibrations.
Do not use caustic or aggressive cleaning agents.
Technical tampering or modifications to the product are prohibited for safety and approval reasons.
Notes on batteries
The remote control unit must only be used with a CR 2032 battery. Never attempt to connect the
unit to a different power source. Take care that the battery is inserted with the correct polarity.
Never short circuit or recharge the battery – explosion hazard! Do not throw the battery into a
fire. If you do not use the remote control unit for a long period, please remove the battery. This
prevents the battery from leaking.
Keep batteries away from children. Do not leave batteries lying around – they may be swallowed
by children or animals. If this does occur, consult a doctor immediately.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause burns if they come into contact with ski. If necessary
use suitable gloves.
Please dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Miscellaneous
To use the remote control unit with the installed device codes, the device to be operated
(TV, Sat, etc.) must first be selected by pressing the device key on the remote control unit.
Before controlling other devices, the relevant device key must be pressed etc.
Please not that the individual keys on this remote control unit may have different symbols to
those on the remote control unit with which you are already familiar.

occurs when using the device or for the resulting consequences. The remote control unit
transmits various code sequences, which may call up undesired functions. SM Electronic GmbH
does not accept any liability for the consequences.
