Summary

Backup Battery Replacement

Step 1: Close Supply Stops

Close water supply stops before proceeding with battery replacement.

Step 2: Remove Cap Assembly

Loosen retaining screw with hex wrench and remove battery compartment cap.

Step 3: Replace Battery

Remove old battery, dispose properly, and prepare for new battery insertion.

Step 4: Wait Period

Observe a three (3) minute waiting period before inserting the new battery.

Step 5: Insert New Battery

Insert new 6 Volt CR-P2 lithium battery and reinstall the battery cover.

Step 6: Open Supply Stops

Open the water supply stops to restore faucet operation after battery replacement.

Troubleshooting Guide

Faucet Inoperative

Troubleshoot faucet not functioning due to sensor obstruction or 'Permanent Off' mode.

Uncontrolled Water Flow

Address faucet issues causing uncontrolled water delivery or abnormal operation.

No Water (Solenoid Clicks)

Resolve no water delivery when solenoid clicks by checking supply stops and strainers.

No Water (No Solenoid Click)

Troubleshoot no water delivery without solenoid click, indicating a low battery condition.

Reduced Water Flow

Diagnose slow flow or dribble by checking supply stops, strainers, and aerator clogs.

Continuous Water Flow

Address faucet not stopping delivery or dripping after use, possibly due to solenoid failure.

Flashing LED Indicator

Identify flashing LED indicator as a symptom of a low battery power level.

Temperature Adjustment

Troubleshoot water temperature by adjusting supply stops or the integral mixing valve.
