5.11.7 Teletext
Teletext is an information system displayed on your TV set. Teletext is only possible if the selected
channel supports such function. The information is organized in the main pages and subpages.
 Press the key TXT to activate teletext. If subtitles are offered for the program in the selected
channel, a selection window appears.
 Press the keys PR+ / PR-
to select Teletext and press OK to switch on teletext. The first
teletext page no. 100.
To navigate inside teletext proceed as follows:
• Keys 0 ... 9 of the remote control: Direct input of a page number
• PR+: Next main page
• PR-: Previous main page
 Press the EXIT or TXT key to deactivate teletext.
5.11.8 Subtitles
If subtitles are offered for the program in the selected channel, these can be activated as fol-
lows:
1. Press the keys TXT to open the selection window Subtitles/Teletext.
2. With the keys PR+ / PR- select a line Subtitle language and confirm your selection with OK to
activate subtitles. Only if several subtitle languages are being sent there will appear several lines
Subtitle language. If for example only German subtitles are sent, deu(D) is preset as subtitle lan-
guage.
To switch off the subtitles proceed as follows:
1. Press the key TXT to open the selection window Subtitles/Teletext.
2. With the keys PR+ or PR- select the line SUB OFF and confirm your selection with OK to deacti-
vate the subtitles.
5.11.9 Setting the Aspect Mode
To set the aspect mode go to the submenu TV System in the menu System Setup.
 Select the menu item Aspect Mode and confirm with OK.
 Select in which length-to-width ratio the TV picture is to be transmitted to the TV set:

4:3 PanScan
•
4:3 Letter Box
•
16:9
•
16:9 Letter Box
 Confirm with OK.
 Press EXIT to leave the menu.
5.11.10 Sleep-Timer
 Press the key SLEEP to call the Sleep Timer.
 Press the key SLEEP repeatedly until the desired duration (in minutes) until switch off appears.
