1. INTRODUCTION
SME have manufactured pick-up arms for more than fifty years and the design and
manufacturing experience gained has now been applied to the Model 30/2 precision turntable.
It complements the Series V precision pick-up arm, ‘the best pick up arm in the world’ and
with this and comparable equipment can provide a listening experience that allows vinyl
sound to be re-assessed. Detail, resolution, dynamic range and neutrality are of a new order,
