Why is there no water visible in my Smeg Washer/Dryer washing drum?
If you don't see water in the washing drum of your Smeg Washer/Dryer, it's not a malfunction. New appliances use very little water to achieve the same washing and rinsing results, so the water level is below the level of the glass in the door.
