For reference, keep in mind that the DC Bus voltage to reduce from 450VDC to 60VDC overall takes approxi-
mately:
• 400ms with 20ohm resistor
• 550ms with 30ohm resistor
• 650ms with 40ohm resistor
• 780ms with 50ohm resistor
• 900ms with 60ohm resistor
ATTENTION
6.8 Digital input: RESET
It is possible, in the situations listed before, to cancel an alarm status. The signal must be kept to logic level
“1” for at least 100 ms (see picture here below) and there is a debouncing software routine suited for signals
coming from electro-magnetic switches.
The resetting procedure is non effectively performed if the output current is higher than 1A, in order to avoid
the risk of damaging the power supply unit.
The ICOS-PS 3160 power supply is not certified to perform safety functions such as STO;
if certified safety functions are required, it is necessary to provide specially designed exter-
nal devices
