INTRODUCTION
This manual covers SNAPPER Series 10 (la^ two
numbers in the model designation) Automatic Blade
St^ and Smooth Start Clirtch equipped rear engine
riding mowers.
See your SNAPPER Dealer for information on the
many accessories available for your riding mower
and examine SNAPPER’S complete line of outstan¬
ding power equipment!
Always stop the blade, shift into neutral and set the
parking brake when it becomes necessary to leave
your rider momentarily while the engine is running!

To set the parking brake, depress the CLUTCH/BRAKE
pedal (5-C) and then slide the PARKING BRAKE lever
(13-C) toward the LEFT until It locks the CLUTCH/
BRAKE pedal in place. To release the parking brake,tap
the CLUTCH/BRAKE pedai with your foot.
