Snapper 8 Series - Lubrication Schedule; Every 6 Months

LUBRICATION SCHEDULE
iVERY 25 OPERATING HOURS:
• FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS: Lubricate through
grease fittings (^-L) with bearing grease from a
pressure gun.
• REAR LEFT AXLE BEARiNG: Riders powered by 8
or 10 HP engines are equipped with a grease fitting
(l-L). Lubricate through the fitting with 2 shots of
bearing grease from a pressure gun.
^ Riders powered by 12/14 H.P. engines have
a sealed REAR LEFT AXLE BEARING which
does not require lubrication.
NOTE: The rear r[ght axle bearing is lubricated by
the transmission on all models.

EVERY 6 MONTHS:
• CUTTING HEIGHT LEVER (6-C): Remove the BELT
COVER (2-C) from deck and apply a small amount of
medium grade cup grease to top surface of ad¬
justing cams on both sides, and lubricate idler arm.

• BLADE LEVER (3-C): Lubricate idler arm and
engagement lever at each wear point with a few
drops of oil. Also lube arm at pivot to spindle hous¬
ing.
• BLADE PEDALS (4-C): Lubricate all pivoting and
sliding surfaces where motion occurs (when pedals
are moved) with a few drops of oil. Reinstall BELT
COVER.
