Why won't my Snapper Lawn Mower engine start?
- EErin MayoJul 31, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Snapper Lawn Mower engine from starting. Ensure the brake pedal is fully depressed and the PTO (electric clutch) switch is in the OFF position. Also, verify that the cruise control is in the NEUTRAL/OFF position. Check the fuel level; if the engine is hot, let it cool before refueling. Other potential causes include a blown fuse, which requires a visit to an authorized dealer, or discharged battery (recharge or replace it). Also, the battery terminals may need cleaning.
