Personal Safety
1. Stayalert,watchwhatyouaredoingandusecommonsensewhenoperatingyourSnowThrower.
DonotuseyourSnowThrowerwhileyouaretiredorundertheinuenceofdrugs,alcohol,or
medication.AmomentofinattentionwhileoperatingtheSnowThrowermayresultinsevere
bodilyinjury.
2. NEVERLEAVEYOURRUNNINGSNOWTHROWERUNATTENDED.Stoptheengine.Donot
leaveyourSnowThroweruntilithascometoacompletestop.
3. Whensteppingbackwards,becautiousaboutanyobstaclesbeneathyourfeetorbehindyouto
avoidfalling.
Service
1. Stoptheenginebeforemakinganyadjustments.Checkformisalignment,breakageoforbinding
ofmovingparts,andanyotherconditionsthatmayaffectoperation.
2. Ifdamaged,havetheSnowThrowerservicedbyaqualiedrepairpersonusingonlyidentical
replacementparts.ThiswillensurethatthesafetyoftheSnowThrowerismaintained.
