SECURE CAP TO TRUCK
1. Insert the clamp bolt with washer through
the holes in the cap sill. Slide the clamp
up from the bottom. Thread the nut and
washer onto the bolt.
2. Repeat in (4) locations.
3. Tighten clamps with a
Torque Wrench to
150 +/- 10 inch-lbs.
(12.5 +/- 0.8 foot-lbs.)
4. Clamps should be checked
and/or re-torqued periodically,
due to normal use.
MAKING ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
1. Standard Harness – See page 8.
Place clamp bolt with washer through J-Bolt pockets
in cap. Align J-Clamp as shown. Insert washer and
nut, then tighten bolt. Repeat at all (4) locations.
