Usage Features:

  • Battery Installation: Before first use, remove the insulating sticker from the tail cap. Ensure the positive end of the new battery faces the flashlight's head when inserting.
  • Battery Level Indicator: The indicator displays power status for 5 seconds after turning on:
    • Green: 75%-100% remaining battery power.
    • Flashing Green: 50%-75% remaining battery power.
    • Red: 25%-50% remaining battery power.
    • Flashing Red: Critical power (less than 25%), requiring immediate replacement or recharge.
  • ON/OFF: Press and hold the switch to turn the light on or off.
  • Change Brightness Level: While the flashlight is on, single-click the switch to cycle through Low, Medium, and High modes. The mode is selected upon switch release.

  • Safety Precautions:
    • Avoid pointing the flashlight directly at people, animals, or moving vehicles to prevent retinal damage.
    • Keep out of reach of children. Strobe mode may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.
    • The flashlight may heat up quickly during prolonged use in high-powered modes, which is normal.
    • Always ensure correct battery orientation (positive end towards the head).
    • Unscrew the tailcap by half a turn during transport or storage to prevent accidental activation and battery drain.
    • Avoid hitting or dropping the flashlight.

Maintenance Features:

  • Disassembly: Disassembling the sealed head can damage the flashlight and voids the warranty.
  • Battery Quality: Sofirn, Ltd. recommends using high-quality brand batteries. Damage from battery leakage voids the warranty.
  • Long-Term Storage: Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period.
  • Prevent Self-Discharge/Accidental Activation: Unscrew the tailcap by half a turn or remove the battery during storage or transportation.
  • Thread Lubrication: Every 6 months, wipe threads with a clean cloth and apply a thin layer of silicone grease.
  • Waterproofness: Replace worn-out O-rings with approved spares to maintain water resistance.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Dirty Contacts: Regularly clean battery contacts, as dirt can impair performance. If experiencing flicker, intermittent shine, or failure to turn on, clean contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
    • Battery Replacement: If the battery needs replacement, use an approved type of a fully charged battery.
    • First Use: If the flashlight does not turn on upon first use, ensure the insulation sticker has been removed from the battery.
  • Warranty: Refer to the warranty policy for support if troubleshooting steps do not resolve issues. Contact Sofirn at us@sofirnlight.com, eu@sofirnlight.com, or wholesale@sofirn.cn for assistance or replacements within the warranty period.
