The Sofirn SP10 Pro is a powerful EDC (Everyday Carry) flashlight designed for various activities such as working, hiking, and dog walking. It features a robust build and a versatile user interface, making it a reliable companion for daily use.
Function Description:
The SP10 Pro utilizes a 1x 90 CRI Samsung LH351D LED, offering a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, ensuring long-term performance. It provides a nice beam suitable for general illumination tasks. The flashlight is powered by either one 14500 Li-Ion battery or one AA alkaline/NiMH battery, offering flexibility in power sources. It incorporates the Anduril 2 user interface, which provides both a simple UI for basic operation and an advanced UI for more complex functions and customization. Key operational features include multiple brightness levels (Moon, Low, Medium, High, Turbo), various strobe modes (Lightning Storm, Candle Mode, Party Strobe, Bike Flasher, Tactical Strobe, SOS Mode, Beacon Mode), and utility modes like Battery Check and Temperature Check. The flashlight also includes automatic stepdown from Turbo to High mode to prevent overheating and advanced temperature regulation (ATR) technology to automatically adjust brightness based on temperature. Low voltage protection ensures the battery is not over-discharged, stepping down brightness and eventually turning off the light when voltage drops below critical levels.

Usage Features:
The SP10 Pro offers a user-friendly experience with its Anduril 2 UI.
- Quick Start: After battery insertion, the light blinks once to confirm power. Basic operation involves a single click to turn on/off and holding the button to change brightness.
- Simple UI: By default, the light uses a simplified interface, ideal for casual users or when lending the light. It limits minimum and maximum brightness for safety and blocks complex functions.
- 1C: On / Off
- 1H: Ramp up (or down, if released within 1 second)
- 2H (light on): Ramp down
- 2H (light off): Momentary high mode
- 2C: Go to/from highest safe level
- 3C: Toggle between SMOOTH RAMPING and STEPPED RAMPING
- 4C: Lockout mode
- 3C (light off): Battery check mode
- 10H (light off): Switch to Advanced UI
- 15C or more (light off): Version check
- Advanced UI: Provides access to all advanced functions and customizations. Users can switch between Simple and Advanced UI.
- From Simple UI: 10H (light off) to Advanced UI.
- From Advanced UI: 10C (light off) to Simple UI, or 10H (light off) to Configure Simple UI.
- Lockout Mode: Prevents accidental activation. In Simple UI lockout, functions like momentary moon (1H) and momentary low (2H) are available. Unlocking can be done via 4C, 4H (low level), or 5C (high level).
- Factory Reset: If users get lost in the UI or need to auto-calibrate the temperature sensor, a factory reset can be performed by loosening the body tube, holding the button, tightening the body tube, and continuing to hold for about 4 seconds until the light flickers and bursts to full power.
- Battery Installation: Insert the 14500 or AA battery with the anode (+) side towards the head, then screw the tailcap back on. Button top 14500/AA batteries are supported.
- Safety Features: Electronic reverse polarity protection prevents damage from incorrect battery installation. Low voltage protection automatically steps down brightness and eventually turns off the light to protect the battery. Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) prevents overheating by automatically adjusting brightness.
Maintenance Features:
- Battery Removal: Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent self-discharge or accidental activation.
- Tailcap Loosening: Unscrew the tailcap by half a turn during transport or storage to avoid unwanted activation and prevent battery drain in standby.
- Thread Lubrication: Every 6 months, threads should be wiped with a clean cloth and then coated with a thin layer of silicone grease to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
- O-ring Replacement: To maintain waterproofness, replace worn-out o-rings with approved spares.
- Contact Cleaning: Regularly clean battery contacts with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues like flickering or intermittent operation.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as battery replacement, cleaning dirty contacts, and removing insulation stickers on first use.
- Warranty: Disassembling the sealed head voids the warranty. Sofirn Ltd. recommends using high-quality brand batteries, as damage from battery leakage voids the warranty. For product defects, users are advised to contact Sofirn for replacement within the warranty period.
