Softub Assembly Instructions

Unboxing the Softub

Open the box carefully without a razor knife, using a hammer's claw to tear flaps open.

Identify Components and Prepare Filter

Check all included items. Ensure the filter is installed, leaving it on the tub wall if pre-installed.

Position Cover Straps Correctly

Place cover straps in an 'X' pattern, buckle facing up, with plumbing connectors between them for secure attachment.

Verify Strap Placement and Connectors

Check strap placement under the tub and dry-fit the cover. Align power unit connectors with tub connectors.

Connect Power Unit and Light

Twist connectors clockwise until snug, ensuring no threads show. Connect the light connector.

Flush Hose and Begin Tub Filling

Run the hose for 2-3 minutes to clear debris before starting to fill the tub with water.

Smooth Liner Wrinkles During Filling

After adding about 2 inches of water, smooth out liner wrinkles by hand, tucking edges to alleviate them.

Install Filter and Fill to Correct Level

Ensure filter is installed and soaked. Fill tub to 2 inches above the highest jet. Do not plug in the tub yet.

Check for Leaks and Connect Power

Check tub connections for leaks and tighten if needed. Plug the tub in now.

Monitor for Leaks and Install Covers

While running, check for leaks and tighten connectors. Install the foam and vinyl connector covers.

Adjust Water Chemistry and Air Control

Check water chemistry, adjust as needed. Run air control counter-clockwise for 15 min, then close it. Put lid on.

Set Desired Temperature

Set the tub to your desired temperature and lock the cover. The tub heats at 1 to 1.5 degrees per hour.
