Disconnection on Inactivity Timeout
As a security precaution, administrators should not allow their users to remain connected via a VPN
connection if no data is passing through for an extended amount of time. If a user were to leave a session
active and a threat actor gained access to their device while the user was not present, then the threat actor
could gain access to the network utilizing the user’s credentials.
