Important information
Conditions
1 The warranty is valid only if the origina
l proof of
purchase issued to the original purchaser by a
Sony Ericsson authorised dealer, specifyin
g the
date of purchase and serial number**,
for this
product, is presented with the Product to be
repaired or replaced. Sony Ericsson reserv
es the
right to refuse warranty se
rvice if this information
has been removed or changed after the origin
al
purchase of the Product from the dealer.
2 If Sony Ericsson repairs or replaces th
e Product,
the repaired or replaced Product shall be warr
anted
for the remaining time of the original warrant
y
period or for ninety (90) days from the
date of
repair, whichever is longer. Repair or replace
ment
may involve the use of functionally equivale
nt
reconditioned units. Replaced parts or co
mponents
will become the property of Sony Ericsson.

This warranty does not cover any failure of
the
Product due to normal wear and tear, or
due to
misuse, including but not limited to use in ot
her
than the normal and customary manner, in
accordance with the Sony Ericsson instru
ctions for
use and maintenance of the Product. Nor do
es this
warranty cover any failure of the Product d
ue to
accident, software or hardware modificat
ion or
adjustment, acts of God or damage resulting f
rom
liquid. A rechargeable battery can be charge
d and
discharged hundreds of
times. However, it will
eventually wear out – this is not a defect. Wh
en the
talk-time or standby time is noticeably sho
rter, it is
time to replace your battery. Sony Ericsso
n
recommends that you use only batteries and
chargers approved by Sony Ericsson.
Minor variations in display brightness and
color
may occur between phones. There may be t
iny,
bright or dark dots on the display. These a
re called
defective pixels and occur when individu
al dots
have malfunctioned and can not be adjusted
. Two
defective pixels are deemed acceptable.
Minor variations in camera image appear
ance may
occur between phones. This is nothing unco
mmon
and is not regarded as a defective came
ra module.
4 Since the cellular system on which the P
roduct is to
operate is provided by a carrier independent
from
Sony Ericsson, Sony Ericsson will not be
responsible for the operation, availabi
lity, coverage,
services or range of that system.
5 This warranty does not cover Product f
ailures
caused by installations, mo
difications, or repair or
opening of the Product performed by a non-
Sony
Ericsson authorised person.
6 The warranty does not cover Product
failures which
have been caused by use of accessories or o
ther
peripheral devices which are not Sony
Ericsson
branded original accessories intended
for use with
the Product.

Tampering with any of the seals on the Produ
ct will
void the warranty.
