Multimod User Instructions
Your DVD player is originally hard-coded for a specific geographical region. This
means that it normally allows playback of software that is matched to your region
only. There are some solutions that patch the player to "region 0", i.e. “region free” to
allow playback of other region specific software - we do not recommend this as many
new titles can detect this and refuse to play.
With our DVD MultiMod you have user selectable region code. You will be able to
select and switch between the region codes on your player. You can choose between
the region 1 to 6. You can switch between any of these modes easily. When a disc
asks the player for the region the player will report the region code you entered, thus
allowing you to play all the latest movies. Just pick the correct region code for the disc
and your disc will play right away.
In order to play DVDs from other regions on your DVD player, the player has to be set
to the correct region.
On your model:
Region selection is auto + manual.
You may leave the player in auto selection mode or select manual region selection.
