Quick Start Guide – Recording on a tape
This chapter introduces you to the basic features to recorded
pictures on tapes of your camcorder. See the page in parentheses
“( )” for more information.
Connecting the mains lead (p. 29)
Use the battery pack when using your camcorder outdoors (p. 24).
Inserting a cassette (p. 33)
AC power adaptor (supplied)
Connect the plug with its v
mark facing up.
Open the DC
IN jack cover.
2 Insert the cassette
straight as far as
possible into the
cassette compartment
with the window
facing out and the
write-protect tab facing
upward.
3 Close the cassette
compartment by
pressing on the
cassette compartment.
After the cassette
compartment goes
down completely, close
the lid until it clicks.

1 Slide OPEN/Z
EJECT in the direction
of the arrow to open
the lid.
