setting

The
clock
must
be
set
correctly.
For
the
setting,
see
page
43.

Make
sure
the
cassette
tape
is
long
enough
to
record
all
the
programs.

Be
sure
the
safety
tab
of
the
cassette
has
not
been
slid
out.
e
Select
the
recording
speed,
SP
or
LP.
e
Press
the
INPUT
SELECT
button
so
that
the
TUNER
indication
appears.
Example:
To
record
channel
8
from
7:00
PM
to
8:00
PM
on
December
25th
(Monday).

Press
the
TIMER
SET
button.
The
program
indication
will
blink.

Adjust
the
@
day,
@
turn-on
time,

turn-off
time,
@
channel
in
sequence,
following
the
illustration.
To
preset
other
programs,
repeat
steps
1
and
2.
To
correct
the
setting,
press
the
button
of
the
incorrect
digit.
To
display
the
current
time,
press
the
TIMER
SET
button
twice.

Press
the
TIMER
REC
button.
A
beep
is
heard
once.
The
power
will
be
turned
off
and
the
recorder
will
enter
the
standby
mode.
If
the
TIMER REC
button
is
pressed
before
completing
the
timer
setting,
a
beep
is
heard
seven
times.
Recording
will
start
at
the
preset
time
and
will
automatically
stop
when
the
recording
is
completed.
Notes
¢
When
the
tape
ends
during
recording,
the
tape
stops
and
the
power
is
turned
off.
The
tape
is
not
rewound.
¢
Once
the
TIMER
REC
indication
has
lit,
no
function
of
the
VCR
can
be
activated,
except
for
the
TIMER
REC
button
and
the
CHECK
button.
