Only the audio signals are recorded on the PCM track.
Normally turn the INPUT LEVEL control to the green
position.
To record both the video and audio signals, connect the
video equipment to the LINE IN VIDEO jack.
For details on connection, see page 40.
| Set the AUDIO MONITOR selector to PCM.
Press the INPUT SELECT button.
The “L1” indication will appear in the display
window.
Note
When the digital audio processor which does not conform to
the 8 mm format standard is used, select the SP mode and
press the EDIT button so that the EDIT indication lights.
Recording will be made as follows:
FM simulcast recording
© standard track
Video and audio signals of the TV program will be
recorded.
© PCM track
FM broadcast program from the FM tuner will be
recorded in stereo.
Audio recording
© standard track
Audio signal from the FM tuner (equipment
connected to the LINE IN AUDIO jacks) will be
recorded in monaural.
© PCM track
Audio signal from the FM tuner (equipment
connected to the LINE IN AUDIO jacks) will be
recorded in stereo.
