Troubleshooting
If
any
difficulty
should
arise
during
operation,
first
check
the
power
cord
connection,
then
go
through
the
following
list.
Should
the
difficulty
persist,
unplug
the
unit
and
contact
your
Sony
dealer
or
local
authorized
Sony
service
facility.
The
POWER
switch
does
not
function.

The
power
cord
is
disconnected.

The
recorder
is
in
the
timer
standby
mode.
(Press
TIMER
REC
so
that
the
TIMER
REC
indication
goes
off.)
The
clock
blinks
showing
“Su

00:00:00”.
There
has
been
a
power
interruption.
Reset
the
clock
time
and
timer
settings.
Picture
being
recorded
cannot
be
monitored
on
the
TV
screen.

Press
TV/VTR
so
that
the
VTR
indication
is
displayed
in
the
display
window.

The
channel
for
the
VCR
is
not
correctly
tuned
on
