Set the deck B to stand by for
recording.
For CD Synchro Recording:
Press REC TO TAPE.
If the play mode is set to Shue
Play, Program Play or Repeat Play,
it automatically switches to Normal
Play (AUDIO CD and VIDEO CD
only).
For Manual Recording and Sound
Mixing (Models with Karaoke
function only):
Press REC TO TAPE.

Start recording.
For CD Synchro Recording:
Press ENTER. When the recording
is completed, the system stops
automatically.
For Manual Recording:
Press ENTER, and then start playing
the desired recording source.
If there is noise while recording from
the tuner, reposition the appropriate
antenna to reduce the noise.
For Sound Mixing (Models with
Karaoke function only):
Press ENTER, and then start playing
the desired source and start singing
or speaking into the microphone.
If acoustic feedback (howling)
occurs, reduce the volume, move the
microphone away from the speakers,
or change the direction of the
microphone.
To stop recording

Notes
CD Synchro Recording is not available with
DVDs.
You cannot listen to other sources while
r
ecording.
When you record from a VIDEO CD,
p
layback with PBC functions is automatically
canceled (CD Synchro Recording only).
If you connect or disconnect a microphone
(m
odels with Karaoke function only) or
headphones during recording, the sound may
cut o for a moment.
When “DVD” function is selected, Karaoke
m
ode is automatically turned on when you
connect a microphone to MIC jack (models
with Karaoke function only).
Do not eject the tape during recording, as
t
his may cause irreparable damage to the tape
and the tape deck.
If you press REC TO TAPE during Manual
R
ecording or Sound Mixing, the recording is
paused. To resume recording, press REC TO
TAPE again.

scs even aer the Synchro Recording is
completed.
