Connect the audio output jacks of an
optional component (such as VCR or
satellite tuner).

VIDEO OUT jack
Connect the video input jack of the
TV or projector.

DVD DIGITAL OUT jack
Connect the digital optical input jack
of an optional digital component
(such as amplier). You can enjoy
5.1 channel sound, if the connected
amplier equipped with Dolby Digital
or DTS decoder.
Notes
Sound is output only when the system
function is set to “DVD.”
 If you press AUDIO, SOUND FIELD

r the buttons related to Karaoke
mode (models with Karaoke function
only), or if you connect or disconnect
microphones (models with Karaoke
function only) or headphones, the sound
cuts o for a moment.
Listening to a connected VCR or
satellite tuner
1 Press FUNCTION +/ repeatedly
(or press VIDEO/SAT on the unit)
to select “VIDEO” or “SAT.”
2 Start playing the connected
component.
To switch between the “VIDEO” and
“SAT” function
Hold down  on the unit and press
VIDEO/SAT on the unit while the system
is on. e system switches the function
from “VIDEO” to “SAT” or vice versa.
Note
If the sound is distorted or too loud when
“VIDEO” is selected, change the function to
“SAT.”
