When the preview function of the MXP-290 is controlled
by external equipment connected to the EDITOR 2 con-
nector, audio mode, stereo or monaural, can be se-
lected.
O (released): Monaural mode. Channels 1 through 8
are set in monaural mode, and up to eight VTRs can
be controlled.
<1 (depressed): Stereo mode. Odd numbered channels
are set as left (L) channels, and even numbered
channels are set as right (R) channels. Up to four
VTRs can be controlled.
Factory setting: Stereo mode. (depressed position)
