    • K
      Kenneth MartinAug 7, 2025
If the power doesn't turn on in your Sony Music Mixer, there could be several reasons. First, check that the batteries are inserted with the correct + and – polarities as shown on page 39. Second, the batteries may be low, in which case you should replace all eight internal batteries with new ones, as described on page 38. Lastly, ensure that the screws on the battery compartment cover are tightened correctly, as shown on page 39.

Why doesn't the MASTER volume activate on my Sony Music Mixer?
    • E
      elizabeth07Aug 15, 2025
If the MASTER volume does not activate to adjust the level of the signal output from the COAXIAL connector on your Sony Music Mixer, it might be because the S/PDIF/CASCADE switch is set to CASCADE. To resolve this, set the switch to S/PDIF. The CASCADE function is only needed when two DMX-P01s are connected in cascade; otherwise, the MASTER volume control won't work, as explained on page 16.

If the indication of the level meter and the meter scale do not match on your Sony Music Mixer, it means that the meter scale sheet attached and the meter display selected using the METER SELECT sub-menu are different. Replace the meter scale sheet with one that matches the meter you are using, as described on pages 32 and 41.
