Troubleshooting
• In case of “Communication Error” after pressing the [Start] button, confirm the below points.
* Is the power on to the applicable amplifier?
* Are the cables connected firmly?
* Are the correct RS232C extension cables used? Always use a straight type cable.
* Is the cable connected tot the correct COM PORT number?
* Is the connected COM PORT available at PC side? Check whether the installed modem is equipped with the
port or not.
• Make sure to copy the Flash Overwrite program and the latest Flash program file to the hard disk before use.
Booting up from the floppy disk may cause a failure due to a slow access speed.
• In case of unsuccessful overwriting, press the [Start] button of the FAOUDJA update, and start overwriting
again from the beginning.
• Overwriting may fail if any other Windows applications are run during the operation.
