NOTES
1. Keep the set away from extremely high heat and avoid any
mechanical shock. The ventilation grille located at the
bottom should be free to permit proper ventiiation.
2. The TC-252D can be used in either horizontal or vertical
position. When using vertically, make sure to place the
reel caps on the spindles. Also, if necessary, attach the
supplied non-skid pads to the bottom of the cabinet.
3. When recording through the Auxiliary Input Jacks, remove
any input source connected to the Microphone Jacks,
otherwise any input source connected to the Auxiliary Input
Jacks will not be recorded.
4. Keep the heads clean. Dust and deposits onthe heads will
prevent optimum performance,
5. When the set is not in use, the Function Selector must be
placed in the stop position.
CONNECTION TO PRE-AMP/AMPLIFIER
With the use of the output and input jacks
Connect left and right Line Output Jacks of the recorder to
respective tape input jacks (or line input jacks) of an integrated
amplifier
(pre-amp/amplifier)
using
the
Connecting
Cord
RK-74
(supplied). Then connect left and right Auxiliary Imput Jacks of
the recorder to respective line output jacks (or recording output
jacks) of the integrated amplifier with the another Connectirig
Cord RK-74,
Connect the Record/Playcack Connector to tre matching
connector
of
an
integrated
stereo
amplifier
usinga
SONY
REC/
PB Connector Cable RC-2 (optional accessory).
When using .this connector, disconnect any conmmecting cord
from other output and input jacks.
