Features
This manual covers the TCM-S63, TCM-S64V, TCM-S66V,
TCM-S67V and TCM-S68V. The illustrations are based on
the TCM-S68V which has the most functions. if any
particular functions apply to your model, they will be
noted.
VOR (Voice Operated Recording) system (TCM-
S64V/S66V/S67V/SE8V)
With this system, recording starts only when sound is picked up and
stops automatically when the sound is no longer detected.
This system economizes tapes, batteries and playback time.
CUE MARKER function (TCM-S68V)
With this function, you can mark desired portions on a tape white
recording, and easily search these portions during cue or review.
FAST PB (fast playback) function
With this function, you can listen to the tape contents rapidly and
economize playback time.
Other features
«Compact size and easy operation.
* BATT (TCM-S63/SE4V/S66V) or REC/BATT (TCM-S67V/S68V)
indicator glows faintly when it is the time to replace the batteries.
* Pause release function for automatically releasing PAUSE asm with
® STOP while the unit is in the pause mode to capture recording
chances.
* By drawing out the sliding microphone, you can improve the
recording effect (TCM-S68V).
Automatic shut-off mechanism (in the recording/playback mode

function is convenient for correcting previously recorded portions.
