Recognition Target (still image/movie)
Selects the target to be recognized with the [ Subject Recog in AF] function.

Human:
Recognizes human faces/eyes.
Animal (
):
Recognizes animal eyes.
Hint
To make the camera recognize animal eyes, compose the shot so that the animal’s eyes and nose are within the angle of view.
Once you focus on the animal’s face, it will be easier to recognize the animal's eyes.
Note
When [
Recognition Target] is set to [Animal ( )], the following functions cannot be used.

Even when [
