rpm.
4.
Turn
speed
knob
to
3200
rpm
setting.
Adjust
R2
(turning
it
clockwise increases
speed)
until the
frequency
meter
displays
3200
±100
rpm.
NOTE
If Rl
or
R2
are
adjusted too high
or
too
low,
a
non-speed control circuit
condition
may
occur
and
require
you
to
repeat
the
Absolute Maximum
Speed
and Minimum/Maximum
Speed
calibrations.
5.
Repeat steps
3
and
4 to
recheck
the
1000
rpm
adjustment
and
the
3200
rpm
adjustment
until
no
further
adjustments are
necessary.
The
adjustment
of
one
potentiometer
may
affect
the
other,
and.
therefore,
they need to
be
rechecked.
RPM
Display
Calibration (R156
or
R3)
1.
Plug
a
frequency
meter into
the
jack
located at
the
back of the
centrifuge.
2.
Set
the
POWER
switch to
ON,
and
open
the
centrifuge
lid.
Install
an
H-
1000B
rotor
onto
the
drive
spindle. Close
and
lock
lid.
3.
Set
the TIME control knob
to
HOLD
and
the
SPEED
control knob to
3200
rpm.
4.
Confirm
a reading
of
3200
±100
rpm
on
the
frequency
meter (actual
speed).
5.
On
RT/T6000D
centrifuoes.
adjust
R3
on
the
Display
P.C.
Board to
match
the
actual
speed.
Turning
R3
clockwise Increases
speed.
On
RT/T6000B
centri¬
fuges,
adjust
R156
on
the
Control
P.C.
Board to
match the
actual
speed.
6.
Disconnect
digital voltmeter and
frequency
meter.
Close
and
secure
front
panel.
Calibration
of
Temperature
Circuit
(R3,
R7,
&
R21)
1.
With the
POWER
switch
set
to
OFF. turn
the
temperature meter
adjusting
screw
(using a
screwdriver)
until the
pointer
reads
-20°C.
2.
Set
the
POWER
switch to
ON.
and
open
the
centrifuge lid.
Remove
the
rotor
if
necessary.
3.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
OFF,
and
unplug
the
centrifuge
power
cord.
4.
Carefully loosen
the
temperature
sensor
located
on
the
bottom
of the
rotor
chamber.
