Centrifuges
Condenser
To
maintain
the
efficiency
of the
refrigeration
system
in
the
refrigerated
centrifuges,
keep
the
condenser
fins free of
dirt.
dust
or
other
substances.
The fins
are
located
in
the front of the
centrifuge.
Clean
the fins
with
a
brush
or vacuum cleaner
at one to
three month Intervals.
Cabinet
Clean
the
enameled cabinet
panels
with
a
paste
wax or spray-on wax cleaner.
Use
a
mild
detergent
and
water to
clean
the
centrifuge
top
and
door.
Chamber
Door
Clean
the chamber
door
with
a soft.
wet
doth
and
soapy
water.
Avoid
using
abrasive
materials
(e.g.,
dry
paper
towels) and
organic solvents,
such
as acetone on
the
dry
surface.

Lubrication
The
chamber door
hinges on
the
RT/6000D
and
RT/T6000B
(SN
9101800
andAbove)
do not
require
lubrication.
The
chamber door
hinges
on
the
RT/T6000B
(SNs Below
9101800)
and
RT/T6000
are
lubricated once
a
year
using
Plastilube
#2,
non-melting
grease
(PN 64591).
Apply
the lubricant
to
the
hinge
pins
that
are
accessible without
removing
the
hinges
(figure
4-1).
