5-4. Run/Brake
Relay Replacement
1.
Unplug
the
centrifuge
power
cord.
2.
Open
the front
panel
(paragraph
5-32)
and locate
the run/brake
relay on
the
right
hand side
of
the
frame
next
to
the
door
latch
(see
figure
5-1).
3.
Remove
the
screw
in
front of the
frame and
the
flatwasher,
lockwasher,
and
nut
inside
the
frame.
4.
Lift
the
relay
off the
shoulder rivet and
slide
it
out.
5.
Disconnect
relay wires,
after
noting wire
locations
for
reassembly (refer
to figure
5-1).
6.
Remove
the
relay.
7.
To
replace
the
relay,
reverse
the
procedure
given above.
