Remove
the
pulley
from
the
bottom
of
the
gyro
and install
it
onto
the
new
gyro
assembly (see
paragraph
5-26).
To
replace
the
gyro:
1.
Remove
the
imbalance detector
bracket from
the
gyro
housing.
Install the
Imbalance
detector bracket
onto
the
new
gyro
assembly
housing.

While
holding
onto
the drive
belt.
remove
the
paper
clip
that
secures
it
to
the
chamber
opening.
Then.
position
the
drive belt
on
the
pulley.
3.
Turn
the
gyro
assembly
until
the imbalance detector bracket is
positioned over
the
imbalance detector
(see
figure
5-9). Secure
the
gyro
assembly
in
place
with
the three
mounting
screws.
